Very handy

I love this. These are add-on parts of a total irrigation package. This helps you better control your watering to prevent overwatering The added bonus is it also lets you monitor light levels to get a better idea of whether your garden or yard is getting too much sun, not enough, or just the right amount of light. To get a total idea of what is going on you will probably require several of these.

Which Gateway Hub I should purchase in order to get this Soil Meter to work?

The Soil Meter is designed as an Add-on device to RainPoint Ecosystem. We have dedicated gateways that will facilitate seamless pairing with our HomGar App.

You may choose Either One of the following to work: a simple Wifi Gateway or an Irrigate Display Hub, the latter can display the soil/rain data, as well as the watering schedule, on a crisp clear screen.

Please note that the gateways are sold separately or with our 2-zone Smart Water Timer or Indoor Plant Irrigation Kit. You do not need to buy additional gateway hubs if you own one of the above, each of our gateways can pair multiple add-on devices simultaneously.

Does this Soil Meter works with the BALDR Wifi Weather Station?

The WiFi weather station works with the Soil Meter but it is not designed to display any of the soil data on the screen. The data will only be available to view on our HomGar app.

I have the RainPoint two-zone valve, do I need two soil moisture sensors?

Yes, each zone can pair with one soil sensor. If you have 2 zones, you can use 2 sensors, and they will work individually. Please note that the soil sensors are optional for the water timer.

Does this Soil Meter work with the RainPoint 8 zone Sprinkle Controller?

Yes, it is compatible! The RainPoint 8 zone Sprinkler Controller has a built-in gateway hub so you do not need to purchase an additional gateway hub if you want to set up the soil meter to the same network.
