FEATURES

With three outdoor sensors, this weather station can tell you the real-time temperature and humidity levels of up to four locations in one glance at its elegant colorful LCD screen. It displays precise information on the current indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity levels and records the day’s highs and lows for temperature and humidity. Matching color stickers for the channels are supplied.  It also displays weather forecasts for the next 12-24 hours of your location based on the local weather data collected.  Time, calendar, and alarm features are also built-in for your convenience. Atomic RCC receiving ensures you always get the most accurate time.  Its big, bright color screen with a backlight makes viewing super easy. The brightness can be adjusted to 100%, 50%, 3%, or “Off,” depending on your preference. This device has a built-in kickstand and hanging slot, so you can put it anywhere you want.

Please Note:

After plugged in, the screen will go dim while in WWVB atomic receiving mode. Our clock searches for WWVB signals at initial setup & several times a day, each lasts up to 7 minutes with the antenna symbol flashing on the screen. After the searching completes, the backlight brightness will come back on, and all functionalities resume. You may press & hold "RCC" button to exit RCC receiving mode anytime.

FAQs

The screen dims when the device enters WWVA atomic receiving mode, which occurs when it's first plugged in and several times throughout the day (mostly at night). During this time, it searches for a radio signal for up to 7 minutes, with the antenna symbol displayed on the screen. While searching, only the "RCC" button is functional. Once the search is complete, the backlight will return to its normal brightness, and all functions will resume.

You can press the "RCC" button at any time to exit the receiving mode.

Please try to see if the following helps:

  • Make sure all sensors have good battery power (2xAA batteries for each sensor). Once correctly installed, there will be a red light flash intermittently (not regularly). It means the sensor is working.
  • On the weather station sidebar, locate the "CH" button, press & hold 3 seconds, then release. All channels receiving signals now should be flashing, and within a few minutes, the sensor data should appear on the display. This serves as a forced re-registration.
  • If any channel is still not displaying after 10 minutes, empty the sensor's batteries, wait one minute, and re-insert back. You will notice the red light immediately flash once installation is complete, and it should sync to the main station right away.

If one or all channels are still not synced after the above three steps, then it may be something defective. Please contact our customer support team for help.

There are 3 sensors for 3-channel Weather Stations. Only the CH1 sensor is responsible for the outdoor weather forecast. Therefore, it is designed to be placed outdoors - hence the TREE symbol. The CH2 & CH3 sensors can be placed anywhere, either indoors or outdoors, and they will only display the temperature & humidity - hence the WATER DROPLET symbol. All three sensors are the same; just ensure that the sensor lock to CH1 is placed outdoors to ensure accurate weather forecasting.

Baldr weather stations were calibrated precisely at our manufacturing facility, which is designed to reflect the barometric pressure data in your location. The accuracy is around +/-5hpa.

In general, the air pressure is affected by altitude & other weather factors. The barometer pressure from websites often reflects the average level of the whole city, which can not be a good reference.
