Included with one Smart Socket, you have the option to acquire up to 9 additional sockets to pair with the meter hub, enabling you to monitor various household appliances simultaneously. Accessible through the LCD and our HomGar App, this setup offers comprehensive monitoring capabilities.

Only 2.4GHZ networks are supported. When the 2.4 GHz and 5GHZ WiFi names and passwords are the same, they can be successfully configured. If the 5GHz WiFi name and password differ from those of the 2.4GHz configuration, the connection to the 5GHz WiFi is unsuccessful.

The product is designed to monitor power consumption under typical household current conditions. It is not suitable for high-power applications where the current exceeds 16 amps. If the device is exposed to a current exceeding 16 amps, it risks damage or burning out.

The meter can be used for Level 1 EV charging as long as the charging current stays below the meter’s limit. Most Level 1 chargers in the U.S. draw about 12 amps from a regular household outlet, which is within the safe range for the meter. In this case, it will work fine for monitoring.

However, some EVs can draw the full 16 amps, which would be too close to (or above) the meter’s maximum rating. Since EV charging is a continuous load that runs for hours, the meter could overheat or become unreliable if pushed to its limit.

So, it’s safe if your EV charges at 12A, but it's not recommended if it charges at 16A. Therefore, it cannot be safely used to monitor the electricity consumption of an electric trolley or any other device that draws more than 16 amps while charging.

The product is designed for AC power with a voltage range of AC 100-240V (50Hz/60Hz) and a maximum load current of 16A. It can monitor the electricity consumption of any appliance operating within this voltage and current range. However, it is specifically designed for traditional AC power and may not be suitable for directly monitoring DC power sources like solar energy without a compatible inverter.

No. The smart outlet is designed to consistently monitor power consumption per appliance. It can not be switched on or off remotely.
