This device works with the BALDR Life app, which is available for download from the App Store. The app is free to use, and no subscription is required.

No. The 5-Day Forecast WiFi Weather Station is designed to pair with the included SE0888 sensor and is not compatible with the older SE0666 sensor.

Once paired, the SE0888 allows you to monitor outdoor temperature and humidity on both the weather station display and the BALDR Life app. The SE0666 does not support app monitoring.

Additional SE0888 sensors will also be available for purchase separately in our store in the near future.

To pair the sensor, follow these steps:

  1. Press the CH button on the weather station to select your preferred channel.
  2. Press and hold the CH button until the channel indicator “--” begins flashing, indicating that the weather station is searching for a sensor.
  3. Insert 2 AA batteries into the outdoor sensor.
  4. Once powered on, the sensor's red indicator light will flash once, indicating it is transmitting a signal.
  5. The sensor data should then automatically appear on the weather station display and in the BALDR Life app.

For best results, keep the sensor close to the weather station during initial pairing.

The readings come from different sources.

  • Indoor temperature and humidity are measured by the display unit;
  • Outdoor conditions are measured by the wireless sensor at your home;
  • The five-day forecast comes from an online weather service via Wi-Fi.

Since each source measures conditions at a different location, the readings may not match exactly. This is normal and does not necessarily mean the station is inaccurate.

The outdoor sensor measures conditions at its exact location, while weather apps typically use data from a weather station located elsewhere. Some difference is normal.

For the most accurate readings, install the sensor in a shaded, covered, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, rain, exterior walls, windows, and heating or cooling vents. Allow at least one hour for the sensor to adjust after moving it.

Place the outdoor sensor beside the display unit for at least one hour and make sure both use the same channel. Then compare the readings. A difference of approximately ±1°C/±1.8°F for temperature and ±5% for humidity is within the product’s stated accuracy range. If the readings remain outside these ranges, restart both units and contact BALDR Customer Support for assistance.

They provide different information. The outdoor sensor measures current conditions at your home, while the five-day forecast comes from an online weather service for your general area. Differences between them are normal.
