The BALDR Wi-Fi weather station combines online professional dynamic local weather data with real-time sensor readings, providing you with a precise weather forecast to effectively plan your day. This smart wireless indoor-outdoor thermometer includes one outdoor temperature sensor and is controlled through the HomGar App, enabling remote monitoring of your home garden. Please note that it is compatible with 2.4GHz routers. The LCD screen of our home weather stations features the latest super bright FVA technology, ensuring clear visibility from 36 feet away, even in direct sunlight or under a desk lamp. With a wide viewing angle and no backlight bleed or blurry display, the 7.5-inch screen offers optimal readability. Our weather station hub supports up to nine sensors, including three air/pool temperature sensors, five soil moisture sensors, and one rain gauge (not compatible with our current wifi rain gauge). While the main unit displays one sensor's data at a time, you can view all sensors and their data on your phone. As the owner, you can invite or decline family members to monitor these devices alongside you.

Just received my order

Because of an address error, my system arrived yesterday, not 19 days ago. I have been unable to connect the second and third sensors. The directions worked well for the first sensor but failed repeatedly with the other two. Until I get those connected, I withhold judgment. The parts that are working work well.

Wish it was totally run on batteries I’d prefer no cord but understand it makes the display bright. Nice bright colors big display but too many unnecessary features all I care about is the indoor outdoor temp.

My own little weather station

My dad is always calling me to ask what the temperature is at my house but I always just guess. Well now I'll know exactly!

It was easy to set up, just download the app and turn on your location. Next set up wi-fi and scan to pair. It only works on 2.4GHz wi-fi. The outside sensor takes two AA batteries and once you set that up just hang it outside where it won't get wet.
Bam... Your own little weather station!

It shows real time weather and what's forecasted. It doesn't show a 10 day forecast or anything like that but what's in the near future like later in the day. I like how it shows the rainfall probability, humidity, and has a freeze alert icon. The backlight can be changed and the letters/numbers are big and can be seen from a distance.

The one thing I can see wrong is in the manual they seem to have switched #16 and #17 because I'm pretty sure my humidity is 88% and that's not a weekly abbreviation. I love it and now when my dad calls I have a leg up on him when talking about the weather!

FAQ

Will this Wifi Weather Station work with the RainPoint Wifi Rain Gauge or Soil Moisture Meter? Will the data be displayed on the weather station screen in addition to the App?

The WiFi weather station works with the Soil Meter but it is not designed as a hub for pairing with the Rain Gauge. We have dedicated gateways that will facilitate the seamless pairing of both RainPoint Smart Add-on devices with our HomGar App. These gateways are not only user-friendly but also budget-friendly, offering you a seamless smart home experience.

You may choose Either One of the following to work with your RainPoint smart add-on devices. A simple Wifi Gateway or an Irrigate Display Hub, the latter can display the soil/rain data, as well as the watering schedule, on a crisp clear screen.

Please note that the gateways are sold separately and are essential for the proper functioning of the Smart Rain Gauge or Soil Meter. The RainPoint Rain Gauge will not work independently or with the wifi Weather Station.

Will this Wifi Weather Station work with the Wireless Pool Thermometer?

No, the weather station doesn't work with the Pool Thermometer. We have dedicated gateways that will facilitate the seamless pairing of the Pool Thermometer with our HomGar App.

You may choose Either One of the following to work with your RainPoint smart add-on devices. A simple Wifi Gateway or an Irrigate Display Hub, the latter can display the soil/rain data, as well as the watering schedule, on a crisp clear screen.

Please note that the gateways are sold separately and are optional only if you want to pair the Pool Thermometer to our HomGar App. The Pool Thermometer works independently without a gateway hub if you don't use it with the App.
